What is Microblading?
Microblading is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are the most natural looking hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. The pigments we used at LiLyDermis medispa in this method are professional and have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour. Microblading is a manual, semi-permanent method, also referred to as Brow Embroidery, 3D brows, microstroking or brow resurrection. Done by hand, using a fine blade to deposit a small amount of ink into the skin.
Wake up with perfect, full brows and save yourself time every day. Achieve a shape suited to your unique traits and individual style. Our Brow Specialists will help find your perfect brow.
HOW DOES MICROBLADING WORK?
Microblading is safe and works extremely well for clients who have suffered hair loss or other reasons. Microblading is a type of eyebrow architecture. It is all about creating the best shape for each face. The needle very finely implants featherweight strokes with a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer for the skin, creating fine, realistic and natural hair strokes. The hair strokes are far more natural and finer than any tattoo, as a handheld needle blade is used.
DOES MICROBLADING HURT?
A topical anesthetic cream is used for numbing before beginning and another anesthetic gel is used again during your procedure. Pain tolerance levels vary from person to person. Every effort is made to keep the client comfortable during the procedure.
HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS ARE NEEDED?
Two appointments are needed, the initial blading and the 6 weeks later for touch-ups. Colours fade 30% to 40% once healed and it is normal for stroked to completely disappear. This is why 2nd appointments are needed to complete the treatment.
Microblading will enhance your expression naturally for years to come
