Under the care of a licensed skin care professional, this product can be prescribed for facial application.
For pre-peel and post-peel maintenance protocols, refer to AHA 10 Pre Peel Cream or AHA 20 Pre Peel Cream.
Specific spots where this product produces dramatic results are on rough elbows, knees and thick-skinned areas such as the heel or isolated rough patches. If a client shows examples of areas of skin with excessive accumulation of dead skin cells, this product should be used.
Because of this product’s high glycolic acid content, it is important that application on sun-exposed areas be covered by clothing or other protective cover. The use of an SPF product is not advised as a complete answer to sun protection while using high concentrations of glycolic acid.
